The work presents the project of renovation of the Chinatown of Havana that found on the 500th anniversary of the foundation of Havana, the pretext to make lasting and self-sustaining economically, an effort of the Cuban government and its institutions as a whole with the Chinese community living in this country. Through images and videos you can see the recovery of emblematic places within the neighborhood, restaurant restoration, wineries, butchers, creation of a cultural square, new street lighting, the new portico in one of the most picturesque neighborhood, among many other projects that are still being executed.
Robert Hew will tell how Chinese Jamaicans successfully digitized and restored their Chinese cemetery in Kingston. Chinese Benevolent Association has suggestions for Havana.
